Roman taxi driver cheating customers with a remote control

A police officer in the Roma Prati metropolitan area detained a 37-year-old taxi driver. When checking it turned out that an enterprising man increased the cost of each trip with the help of a remote control. The taxi driver worked legally, but his counter received an additional upgrade in the form of a control unit, which received control signals from a small remote control hidden in the driver's hand.

The Italian portal www.ilmessaggero.it reports that the unfortunate inventor increased the travel distance of passengers and, accordingly, the cost of the service. Dissatisfied customers complained to the police, an investigation was initiated. When inspecting the car, additional equipment and a mini remote control were revealed.

It is expected that other victims of the fraudster with the "cups" will turn to the site. By the way, this citizen was already on the note by law enforcement agencies in connection with his penchant for adventures.

This is not the first case of fraud among taxi drivers. Not so long ago, the capital's driver hid with the luggage of tourists from Germany. Although, there are among Roman drivers and incredibly honest people. Finding a handbag with 17 thousand euros in the back seat, the taxi driver made every effort to return the money to his passengers!
